To experience all four seasons in a single day is a unique experience...but to experience this while gazing upon the Cliffs of Moher is something almost otherworldly.
From sunshine to hail to snow to blooming flowers and green grass; as the ocean pounds against the limestone cliffs, one is nearly blown away (quite literally). Wind gusts can exceed over 100 mph. Today, gusts exceeded 50 mph or so and even those gusts can unearth what appear to be steady portions of cliff, but one wrong step and goodbye.
It is difficult to describe the adrenaline rush Mother Earth provides us. Gazing over the cliffs, your mind plays tricks on you and depth perception becomes a thing of the past. Your heart begins to race causing even the bravest to back away slowly.
Mother Earth plays a tantalizing game with you as displayed through her gusts of wind which whip you around in every direction.
The edge is not for the faint of heart or unsteady.
Easily, the most beautiful sight I've ever seen in my life to date...The Cliffs of Moher
