Hiking the Highlands

Climbing to the top of Ben Bhraggie today proved to be more difficult than I expected but the reward given to me at the top was totally worth it.

I would consider myself an amateur hiker at best, but this marked the beginning of a beautiful romance with Mother Nature. She provides us with great challenges and even greater rewards. She is never to be underestimated.

At the top, one feels at peace with the world and that voice inside, which seems to never stop talking, ceases to exist and one can just be present.

Breathe in the fresh air and know that you are stronger than you think you are.
